DREAM ORGANS
![]()
As a child I was fascinated by a picture in volume 16 (MUSHR to OZON) of the 1959 edition
of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. It showed the facade of the old Boston Music Hall organ, as
installed at Methuen, Mass. This is my imaginative reconstruction of that then-unknown
stoplist. It is based on contemporary instruments by Walcker, but with many departures of
detail and nomenclature.
