DREAM ORGANS
JULIAN RHODES' IMAGINARY ORGANS

This scheme was inspired by a poster for an early music festival in Bruges. It showed a man and woman asleep in each other's arms in a wide bed, above which rose tiers of organ pipes. This generously proportioned instrument is my interpretation of that bedroom organ. With its plethora of subtle colours and gentle plenum, it is a modern reinterepretation of the Compenius esthetic.
