THREE MONADIC ORGANS



'Monadic' is the term I use to describe an organ in the form of a single-manual tonal unit, often with as much symbolic as practical intent. It is a kind of idea-sketch, and may appear illogical or surreal; it is a summation of place or feeling. Here are three examples.
