(283 stops)The Loggia division has an oriental flavour. Its stops include:
AIRE is in effect a Choir division.CAT REGAL: Inspired by the novel 'Prince Peter of Porcelania'.
(Wedgwood sugested the introduction of a 'Vox Felina')
FIGURINA: A conical flute, its tone as delicate as a bone-china figurine.
KOTO: A flute and string piffaro evoking the spare sound of the Japanese instrument.
MANDARINA: A salicional and gemshorn piffaro of delicate tone.
MOUSE FLUTE: An open wood flute of thin, piping timbre, complementing the Cat Regal.
PORCELANIA: A wide-scale open metal flute with a delicate, sibilant timbre.
SHENG: A free-reed evoking the rich, bamboo timbre of the Chinese mouth-organ. A counterpart, in this upper part of the instrument, to the Sheng registers in the Inceptual level.
SHIUN: An harmonic wood flute of round timbre, evoking the tone of the Chinese globular flute.
SONANCE (from the Latin 'Sonare', to sound) contains diverse voices.
UPPER comprises two choruses:
Pedal: Loggia includes:PLEIADES: A dolce piffaro of gentle, luminous tone. The name is that of the star-cluster popularly known as the 'seven sisters' in the constellation Taurus.
PRAESEPAE: A sibilant, bright toned piffaro of gentle strings. The name is that of the star cluster popularly known as the 'beehive' in the constellation Cancer.
CHIH: A hollow-toned metal flute, named after the Chinese instrument.
SHONKEM: A hollow, woody toned Dulzian.

12. CELESTIAL LEVEL

This is the uppermost level of the organ.EMPYRIAN is the traditional name of the highest celestial sphere. As such it sits at the very top of the instrument. Stop-names include:
Pedal: Empyrian includes:WINDHARP: An extrenely gentle, delicate Eolian Harp of narrow-scale strings.
(Zwickau Dom, Germany: Eule 1969)
ETHEROPHONE: A thin toned free-reed with gently metallic upper harmonics. Named after the early 20th-century electronic instrument.
CHOEUR SERAPHIQUE: A piffaro of vocal quality. Like the Voce Corale on the Ethereal subdivision, but gentler in effect.

URANION: More symbol than stop, this refers to the incoming energies of the Aquarian age. Aquarius is ruled by Uranus.
COELESTINE: A gently luminous piffaro of harmonic flutes. Named after the experimental 19th-century instrument.
INEFFABILIS: More symbol than stop. The top of the organ is reached; this stop refers to that which is still unexpressed, and which can never be expressed. A common artist's dilemma.
