An advertisement in the January 1988 issue of 'The American Organist' announced the commission of a new organ by Sebastian MatT. Gluck Orgelbau for St. Peter's Episcopal (Anglican) church. It stated that the church, built in 1855:
comfortably seats three hundred people. The new instrument of eighty-two ranks will speak from a commanding position above the west choir gallery. The pipework will be of high tin content, voiced on rock-steady pressures of six and ten inches, and controlled by reliable electropneumatic chest actions from a fully-equipped electromechanical console.The stoplist was stated as follows:
